I was tasked with creating artwork using a method that would help design typographic forms, imagery, and content. The inspiration behind these works comes from my love of collecting vinyl records. The concept was to have each piece resemble a vinyl record. I chose three of my favorite albums that I had at the time. If you observe each work, you'll notice they feature a different number of rings, representing the number of songs on each album, with sizes varying based on the length of each song. Every element of the artwork is derived from the vinyl, including the colors, imagery, shapes, and text. During the process of creating these pieces, I listened to the corresponding albums numerous times. Through this experience, I abstractly crafted the rings based on how I felt emotionally while listening to the music.
